Advocating for Human Rights.

Alleviating Poverty.

To promote the human rights of the people of the Congo, we:

Work with the grassroots community to alleviate poverty in Congo

Promote Congo works with the grassroots community to alleviate poverty by fundraising and providing entrepreneurs and small business owners with micro-loans to support their projects that will benefit the Congolese community.

Facilitate human rights training in Congo

Promote Congo collaborates with grassroots organizations, including faith-based, solidarity, development, and humanitarian organizations to carry out human rights training in the DRC.

Network with the Congolese Diaspora

Around the world, Promote Congo networks with the Congolese Diaspora’s human rights activists to get them involved in the process of rebuilding and developing the country.

Educate others

In the United States and abroad, Promote Congo educates people about the human rights issues that exist in the DRC to get them involved in advancing human rights and economic development in the country.

Each year, Promote Congo hosts two microloan competitions, awarding winners $300 to start their own small projects or businesses.

The next microloan competition will start in March 2012.
